life is beautiful

A beautiful life is not about the amount of wealth or possessions one has, but rather the depth of joy and contentment one experiences. It's about finding happiness in the simple things and living in the moment.

A beautiful life is one where you wake up every day feeling grateful for the little things. The warmth of the sun on your face, the sound of birds chirping outside your window, and the smell of fresh coffee brewing in the kitchen. It's about appreciating the beauty that surrounds you, whether it's a blooming flower or a stunning sunset.

A beautiful life is also about having meaningful relationships with the people around you. It's about cherishing your family and friends, and taking the time to connect with them on a deeper level. It's about creating memories that will last a lifetime, and being there for each other through the ups and downs of life.

But a beautiful life is not just about the present. It's also about the future. It's about having dreams and goals, and working towards them with passion and determination. It's about living a life of purpose and meaning, and making a positive impact in the world.

A beautiful life is not without its challenges and struggles, but it's about finding the silver lining in every situation. It's about learning from your mistakes, growing from your experiences, and never giving up.

In conclusion, a beautiful life is about finding joy in the little things, cultivating meaningful relationships, pursuing your passions, and making a positive impact in the world. It's not about perfection, but rather about embracing the imperfections and living life to the fullest.

A beautiful life is one that is filled with joy, love, and purpose. It's a life where every moment is cherished, every experience is valued, and every person is appreciated. A beautiful life is not necessarily one that is free from struggles or hardships, but rather one that is filled with resilience, hope, and gratitude.

In a beautiful life, happiness comes from within. It's not dependent on external factors such as money, fame, or material possessions. Instead, it comes from the simple things - a warm hug from a loved one, a walk in nature, a good book, or a cup of coffee with a friend. It's the little moments that add up to create a life that is fulfilling and meaningful.

A beautiful life is also one that is filled with love. It's a life where we are surrounded by people who accept us for who we are, support us in our dreams, and stand by us through thick and thin. It's a life where we give love freely and receive it in return, where we forgive and are forgiven, and where we find peace and happiness in the company of others.

But perhaps most importantly, a beautiful life is one that is lived with purpose. It's a life where we wake up each day with a sense of direction and meaning, knowing that our actions and choices have an impact on the world around us. Whether it's through our work, our hobbies, or our relationships, we strive to make a difference in the lives of others and leave a positive mark on the world.

In conclusion, a beautiful life is not something that can be bought or achieved through external means. It's something that we create for ourselves through our choices, our attitudes, and our actions. It's a life that is rich in joy, love, and purpose, and one that inspires others to do the same. May we all strive to live a life that is beautiful in its own unique way.

Un(Married - Adulterated)

Indian Parents in general think that marriage is the ultimate happiness but it is debatable.

Being unmarried - the perfect excuse to stay in your pajamas all day and eat ice cream straight from the tub without any judgment. Here are some funny things about being unmarried:

You get to keep all the closet space to yourself - no sharing with a significant other or fighting over who gets the last hanger.

Your weekends are completely open - no mandatory couple activities or in-laws to visit. You can binge-watch your favorite shows and eat pizza in bed to your heart's content.

You don't have to worry about anyone stealing your food - there's no one to sneak a bite of your sandwich or finish the last slice of cake without asking.

You don't have to pretend to like your partner's hobbies - no pretending to enjoy watching sports or playing video games when you'd rather be doing something else.

You can take up the entire bed - no more fighting for space or getting kicked in the middle of the night.

You can be as spontaneous as you want - no need to coordinate schedules or compromise on travel plans.

You can eat breakfast for dinner without judgment - who needs a fancy dinner when you can have pancakes and bacon for every meal?

In summary, being unmarried has its perks, from unlimited closet space to breakfast for dinner. So, embrace the single life and enjoy the freedom while it lasts!

Indian marriages, the perfect opportunity to drain your bank account and showcase your social status in front of people you barely know. It's a grand event where the bride and groom are merely accessories to the extravagant display of wealth and pomp.

The journey begins with the family hiring a professional matchmaker, because apparently, finding a partner on your own is too mainstream. The potential bride and groom then meet for a few awkward minutes, just enough time to judge each other's looks, education, and family background.

If the couple is "compatible," then the real fun begins - the endless shopping trips to buy the perfect outfits, jewelry, and gifts for everyone from the distant relatives to the neighborhood grocer. And let's not forget about the lavish invitations, because nothing says "I love you" like spending a small fortune on fancy cardstock.

As the wedding day approaches, the stress levels rise. The families are busy comparing caterers, decorators, and venues, all while trying to one-up each other with the latest trends and fads. It's all about who has the most expensive flowers, the most elaborate stage setup, and the most high-tech sound system.

And don't even get me started on the actual wedding ceremony - the hours of sitting around in uncomfortable clothes, the endless rituals that nobody really understands, and the constant buzz of people gossiping about each other's wealth and status.

But hey, at least there's the food, right? The delicious spread of oily, spicy dishes that make you regret wearing anything remotely fitted. And the desserts - because who needs a waistline when you have an endless supply of gulab jamuns and rasgullas?

In summary, Indian marriages are a fantastic way to bankrupt yourself and impress people you don't really care about. It's a grand spectacle of extravagance and showmanship, with the bride and groom merely serving as props in the larger drama of family politics and societal status.

Yes Man - No Way

"Yes people" are individuals who have a tendency to say "yes" to every request or opportunity that comes their way, regardless of their workload or capacity. These people often feel a sense of obligation to please others, avoid conflict, or gain approval from their colleagues and superiors.

While being a "yes person" may seem like a positive trait, it can have several negative consequences. Saying "yes" to too many commitments can lead to overwork, burnout, and a lack of focus on important tasks. It can also create unrealistic expectations and set a precedent for others to take advantage of your time and resources.

Additionally, "yes people" may struggle with setting boundaries and saying "no" when necessary. This can lead to a lack of control over their time and priorities, and can ultimately harm their career and personal well-being.

To avoid falling into the trap of being a "yes person," it's important to prioritize your time and commitments. Consider your workload and capacity before taking on additional tasks, and be honest with yourself and others about what you can realistically handle. Additionally, practice setting boundaries and saying "no" when necessary, while still being respectful and professional.

It's also important to recognize that saying "no" doesn't mean you're being unhelpful or uncooperative. In fact, it can be a sign of good time management and a commitment to your own priorities and well-being.

In summary, while being a "yes person" may seem like a positive trait, it can have negative consequences on your workload, well-being, and career. By prioritizing your time and commitments, setting boundaries, and being honest with yourself and others, you can avoid falling into this trap and create a more productive and fulfilling work-life balance.

I find people so funny at times, they do everything that they can because the other person is doing it.
Where as they should be doing it because they like and want it.

Surviving the Daily Grind: A Comedic Guide to Office Life

Ah...  the office, where the coffee is never strong enough and the air conditioning is always on the fritz. It's the place where we spend eight hours a day pretending to work, while secretly checking our phones every two minutes.

Every day starts with the same routine. You drag yourself out of bed, grab a cup of coffee, and try to avoid making eye contact with your co-workers in the elevator. Once you're at your desk, you spend the next hour staring blankly at your computer screen, trying to remember what it is you're supposed to be doing.

But then, just when you think you can't take it anymore, the office gossip starts. You hear whispers about a co-worker's new haircut or an office romance, and suddenly you're hooked. Forget about spreadsheets and deadlines, this is the real work.

Of course, there are always those moments of excitement, like when someone brings in donuts or there's a fire drill. You get to pretend you're a hero, even if it's just for a few minutes.

And let's not forget about the meetings. The meetings that could have been emails, the meetings that go on for hours, and the meetings where you have no idea why you're even there. But hey, at least you get to sit down for a while.

At the end of the day, you pack up your things and head home, exhausted but grateful for a break from the office. Until tomorrow, that is, when you get to do it all over again.

But hey, at least you're not a cat, sleeping all day and only waking up to beg for food. Or maybe you are a cat? In that case, I envy you.

It was just another day at the office, and by that I mean I spilled coffee on my shirt before even making it to my desk. As I walked through the sea of cubicles, I couldn't help but feel like I was in a maze, unsure of which direction to turn.

Finally, I arrived at my desk, only to find a stack of papers waiting for me, daring me to make sense of them. I tried to focus, but my mind kept wandering to the donuts in the break room, calling my name like a siren song.

But before I could even take a bite, I was called into a meeting, where I sat through an hour of buzzwords and jargon that made my head spin. When it finally ended, I stumbled back to my desk, wondering if I had just entered another dimension.

As the day wore on, I found myself longing for the sweet release of the weekend, and the thought of my bed waiting for me at home. But then I remembered the pile of work waiting for me on Monday, and I realized that the office was like a never-ending cycle of work, coffee spills, and meetings.

But hey, at least I had a good view of the vending machine from my desk

Taming the shrew

The wicked mother-in-law is a common trope in many cultures and has been the subject of many jokes, movies, and books. This character is often portrayed as a controlling and manipulative figure who tries to interfere in the relationship between her child and their spouse. While not all mother-in-laws are wicked, the archetype persists because it resonates with people who have experienced difficult relationships with their in-laws.

One reason why the wicked mother-in-law trope is so enduring is that it touches on a universal theme: the tension between loyalty to one's family of origin and loyalty to one's spouse. When a person marries, they are essentially forming a new family unit that is separate from their parents and siblings. This transition can be difficult for both the newlyweds and their families, especially if there are conflicting expectations about what that relationship should look like.

In some cases, the mother-in-law may feel threatened by the new spouse and see them as competition for their child's love and attention. This can lead to a power struggle in which the mother-in-law tries to undermine the spouse's authority or create conflicts between the couple. Alternatively, the mother-in-law may be trying to protect their child from what they see as a bad decision and may resort to harsh or manipulative tactics to get their way.

Regardless of the specific circumstances, the wicked mother-in-law trope resonates with people because it speaks to the difficulty of navigating complex family relationships. While there is no one-size-fits-all solution to dealing with a difficult mother-in-law, communication and boundaries can go a long way in improving the situation. It is important for both the spouse and the mother-in-law to acknowledge each other's feelings and work towards a compromise that respects everyone's needs. This may require some difficult conversations and compromises, but it can ultimately lead to a stronger and more harmonious family unit.

A "wicked" mother-in-law is a common trope in popular culture, often depicted as an overbearing, controlling, and critical figure who interferes in her child's married life and makes their life miserable. While this stereotype may be exaggerated, it is not entirely unfounded, and many people do struggle with difficult relationships with their in-laws.

There can be various reasons why a mother-in-law may behave in a way that is perceived as wicked. For instance, she may feel threatened by her child's spouse and see them as a competitor for her child's love and attention. She may also have certain expectations and beliefs about how her child's married life should be and may try to enforce them onto the couple, disregarding their wishes and preferences.

Moreover, a wicked mother-in-law may have unresolved issues from her own past, such as a difficult childhood, failed relationships, or unfulfilled aspirations, which may manifest in her behavior towards her child and their spouse. In some cases, she may also be struggling with mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, or narcissism, which may affect her ability to interact with others in a healthy and respectful way.

Dealing with a wicked mother-in-law can be a challenging and emotionally draining experience, but there are several strategies that one can use to cope with the situation. Here are some tips:

Set boundaries: It is essential to establish clear boundaries with your mother-in-law and communicate them assertively but respectfully. For instance, if she tends to drop by unannounced, let her know that you prefer it if she calls ahead to make sure it's a good time to visit. If she tends to criticize your choices or parenting style, let her know that you appreciate her concern but that you and your spouse have your own way of doing things.

Stay calm and composed: While it may be tempting to react to your mother-in-law's behavior with anger or frustration, it is generally more effective to stay calm and composed. Take deep breaths, count to ten, or excuse yourself from the situation if you feel overwhelmed. Remember that you are in control of your emotions and that you don't have to let her behavior affect you.

Focus on your relationship with your spouse: Ultimately, your relationship with your spouse is what matters the most, and it's essential to prioritize it over your relationship with your mother-in-law. Make sure to communicate openly and honestly with your spouse about how you feel and work together to find solutions to any issues that arise.

Seek support: Dealing with a difficult mother-in-law can be isolating and stressful, and it's essential to seek support from friends, family, or a therapist if needed. Talking to someone who understands your situation can help you process your emotions and gain new perspectives on how to cope.

In conclusion, having a wicked mother-in-law can be a challenging and stressful experience, but it's essential to remember that you are not alone and that there are strategies you can use to cope with the situation. By setting clear boundaries, staying calm, prioritizing your relationship with your spouse, and seeking support, you can navigate this difficult relationship and protect your mental and emotional well-being.

Same blood - Fam-squad

siblings are the best things you can have, but they can be the worst too (same blood).

Ah, siblings. They can be our best friends one minute and our worst enemies the next. Growing up with siblings is like being part of a never-ending comedy sketch.
Here are some funny thoughts on siblings:

Siblings are like built-in frenemies. They will always have your back, but also won't hesitate to use embarrassing childhood stories against you.

One of the biggest perks of having siblings is having someone to blame for everything. Broken vase? Must have been the little brother. Missing cookies? Clearly the older sister.

Siblings have an amazing ability to drive each other crazy. Whether it's playing pranks or hogging the TV remote, siblings know how to push each other's buttons.

Siblings have a language of their own. Inside jokes, secret nicknames, and shared memories create a bond that is unique to siblings.

Siblings can also be the perfect partners in crime. Sneaking out of the house, covering for each other, and getting into mischief together are just some of the ways siblings can team up.

Sharing a room with a sibling can be both a blessing and a curse. Late night chats and pillow fights can be fun, but so can the constant bickering over who gets the top bunk.

As siblings grow older, they may drift apart or become closer than ever. But no matter what, the bond between siblings is strong and unbreakable.

In conclusion, siblings are like a rollercoaster ride - full of ups, downs, and unexpected twists and turns. They may drive us crazy, but they also make life more interesting and fun. Whether you're the oldest, middle, or youngest sibling, the bond you share with your siblings is one of a kind and worth cherishing.

They make you learn, laugh and live, world is so non-spicy without them,

Cant live with them cant leave them.  They are fun and funny.

Home is where Mom is

Mom is the most used word ever, even if it swear on or off (Pun Intended :P)

Moms come in all temperaments, mine is the little funny types though. She is all nice things.
she is fun and her smile makes everything it easy, its just magical.

Home is a place where we feel safe, comfortable, and loved. It's a place where we can be ourselves, surrounded by the people who know us best. For me, home is where my mom is.

Growing up, my mom was always there for me, providing me with unconditional love and support. She was the one who kissed away my tears, cheered me on at my sports games, and helped me with my homework. Her presence gave me a sense of security and warmth that I couldn't find anywhere else.

As I grew older, I began to appreciate my mom even more. I realized that her love and support extended far beyond the home we shared. She was always there for me, even when I was far away, offering words of encouragement and support when I needed it most.

Now, as an adult, I still find myself turning to my mom for comfort and guidance. No matter where I am in the world, I know that I can always call her and she will be there for me. Her voice is like a soothing balm, calming my fears and easing my worries.

There is something special about the bond between a mother and child. It is a bond that cannot be broken, no matter what life throws our way. My mom has been my constant, my anchor, and my guide through all the ups and downs of life.

For me, home will always be where my mom is. Her love, her laughter, and her presence make any place feel like home. I am so grateful for her, and I know that I am incredibly lucky to have her in my life. As long as she is by my side, I will always feel like I am home.

There's a saying that goes, "home is where the heart is," but for me, home is where my mom is. Growing up, my mom was always the center of our family. She was the one who made sure we had food on the table, clean clothes to wear, and a warm bed to sleep in at night. But more than that, she was the one who made our house feel like a home.

As a child, I remember coming home from school and being greeted by the warm embrace of my mom. She would always have a smile on her face, no matter how tired or stressed she may have been. Her love was unconditional, and it was evident in everything she did. Whether it was cooking our favorite meals or helping us with our homework, my mom was always there for us.

As I grew older, I started to appreciate my mom even more. I realized that everything she did for us was out of love and sacrifice. She gave up her own dreams and ambitions to ensure that we had everything we needed. She worked long hours and made countless sacrifices to provide for us, and never once complained or asked for anything in return.

Now that I am an adult, I have moved out of my childhood home and started my own life. But no matter where I go, my mom will always be my home. Whenever I am feeling lost or alone, I know that I can always count on her for support and guidance. Her presence brings me comfort and reminds me of the love and warmth that I felt growing up.

In a world that can often feel cold and unforgiving, my mom's love is a constant source of comfort and warmth. She has taught me the importance of family and the value of selflessness. She has shown me that a true home is not just a physical place, but a feeling of love, security, and belonging.

In conclusion, for me, home is not just a place, but a feeling. It's the feeling of warmth and love that I associate with my mom. She has always been the anchor of our family and the glue that holds us together. Her love and support have shaped me into the person I am today, and I will be forever grateful for her presence in my life. Home truly is where mom is.

She is cute and she is cool ðŸ˜˜
She is lovely and she is my fun gene😂
She is a rock and she is beautiful😎
She is my mum....

Ageing via experience !

"Ageing is like a fine wine - it may take time, but the experience just keeps getting better!"

Ageing is a natural process that we all go through as we move through life. With each passing year, our bodies undergo physical changes and our minds accumulate experiences and knowledge. While some people may view ageing as a negative thing, there is a certain beauty to it.

As we age, we gain a wealth of experience. We have lived through different phases of life and have learned from our successes and failures. This experience can give us a unique perspective on the world and the people around us. We can offer advice and guidance to those who are just starting out on their own journeys.

At the same time, ageing can also bring challenges. Our bodies may not be as strong or as flexible as they once were, and we may face health issues that we never had to worry about before. We may also experience loss, whether it be the loss of a loved one or the loss of our own abilities.

However, it is important to remember that age is just a number. While our bodies may change, our minds can remain sharp and active. We can continue to learn and grow throughout our entire lives, and our experiences can enrich us in ways that we never imagined.

Ultimately, ageing with experience can be a beautiful thing. It allows us to look back on our lives with gratitude and to look forward with hope and excitement. It reminds us that we are a part of something greater than ourselves, and that we have a role to play in shaping the world around us.

As we grow older, we accumulate more experiences. These experiences can come in many forms, such as work, relationships, travel, and personal growth. While ageing can sometimes be associated with negative connotations, such as physical decline and cognitive impairment, it is important to recognize that ageing can also bring many positive benefits, particularly when it comes to our experiences.

One of the key benefits of ageing with experience is the accumulation of wisdom. As we navigate through life, we learn important lessons and gain valuable insights that we can apply to future situations. We may have made mistakes in the past, but those mistakes have taught us valuable lessons that we can use to avoid similar pitfalls in the future. This wisdom can be especially valuable in personal relationships, where we can use our experience to provide guidance and support to others.

Another benefit of ageing with experience is the development of resilience. As we face challenges and obstacles throughout our lives, we learn to adapt and overcome them. This resilience can be especially important as we age, as it can help us cope with the physical and emotional changes that come with getting older. By drawing on our experiences, we can develop a sense of inner strength and resilience that can help us navigate through life's challenges.

Finally, ageing with experience can bring a sense of perspective and appreciation for the present moment. As we age, we may become more aware of our mortality and the fragility of life. This can help us appreciate the present moment more fully and prioritize the things that truly matter to us. We may also develop a deeper sense of gratitude for the people and experiences that have shaped our lives.

In conclusion, ageing with experience can bring many positive benefits, including the accumulation of wisdom, the development of resilience, and a sense of perspective and appreciation for the present moment. While ageing may come with its challenges, it is important to recognize the many valuable experiences that come with getting older.

Lockdown - Apr 2020

This has taught me to be grateful, to not things for granted.

memories dated just 3 months back are also coming as nostalgia.
the world has come to a standstill.

it was just normal in march, we did do a trip to Goa and came back, went home for holi - came back and woof it all started to come under lockdown.

meeting people socializing, travels, drives, hanging out has paused.
although internet is still on, and virtually we are still connected but in these hard times it feels such a disconnect at times

but in a positive blink, it has given the much needed break to all of us.
spend time with family, play with your kids. entertain yourself
Play games, cook, draw, write, scribble, rest, sing, dance, take care of you

coming to what I miss most during this period of isolation, NOTHING
I am doing what I just love to do, stay home, do my thing.

I have just discovered the love to cook, the happiness it gives me to plan every meal specially the weekends.
I love to capture some lovely food on the plate and put it to my social media, obviously I am getting a lot of appreciation and love for these.

But the point remains that this situation is here to stay and will be the new normal in times to come.
I think this is some part of God's plan to put things back in their orbit.

Government cannot put the entire company under the lock-down for long, this will be a bigger economic issue and problem for the daily bread earners.
Cant be done much, but it will be more productive if we choose to adapt this.

Virtual Reality.

You can binge watch on your mobile, but dont have people to talk to.
When was the last time you spoke to your friend and told them that you are screwed

SOCIAL MEDIA, the place where everyone becomes an expert in filters and hashtags, and where oversharing is the new normal. It's like a never-ending reality show where people document every meal, outfit, and awkward encounter.

We all have that friend who can't resist posting a selfie every five minutes, no matter how mundane the situation. "Just brushed my teeth, #FreshBreathGoals." Like seriously, do we need a play-by-play of your dental hygiene routine?

And let's not forget about those overused hashtags that make us roll our eyes. #Blessed, #Goals, and #LivingMyBestLife seem to accompany every picture, whether it's a fancy vacation or just a cup of coffee at the local café. Can we get some originality, please?

Oh, and don't even get me started on the humblebrags. "Ugh, my beach vacation got extended. I guess I'll just have to suffer through more sunsets and margaritas." We get it, your life is amazing, but maybe tone down the bragging a notch.

Then there are those never-ending political debates that take place in the comments section. It's like a battlefield of opinions, with keyboard warriors ready to engage in a virtual war over the most trivial topics. Who knew that a post about cute puppies could turn into a heated discussion about tax policies?

But amidst all the overused clichés and virtual dramas, social media does have its funny side. It's a platform for hilarious memes, witty comebacks, and epic fails. After all, where else can you find a compilation of cats dancing to popular songs or people attempting ridiculous challenges for their 15 minutes of fame?

In summary, social media is a never-ending circus of overused hashtags, humblebrags, and virtual debates. But if you can sift through the noise, you might just find some genuinely funny

People judge the happiness via the instagram filters, wherein it is absolutely rubbish.

Electronic devices have undoubtedly become an integral part of our lives, offering convenience, connectivity, and entertainment. However, their excessive and unhealthy use can lead to a variety of toxic impacts on individuals and society as a whole.

One of the primary concerns is the addictive nature of electronic devices. Whether it's constantly checking social media, playing video games for hours on end, or mindlessly scrolling through endless feeds, these devices can easily consume our attention and time. This addiction can lead to a lack of productivity, neglect of responsibilities, and a decline in physical and mental health.

The constant exposure to screens also has detrimental effects on our physical well-being. Prolonged device usage can contribute to sedentary behavior, leading to a lack of exercise and increased risk of obesity and related health issues. Additionally, excessive screen time can cause eye strain, headaches, and disrupted sleep patterns, affecting both our physical and mental health.

Furthermore, electronic devices can have a negative impact on our social interactions. People often become so engrossed in their devices that they neglect face-to-face communication, leading to a decline in genuine human connections. The virtual world can create a sense of isolation, as individuals may prioritize online interactions over meaningful real-life relationships.

Another significant concern is the impact of electronic devices on mental health. The constant exposure to carefully curated online personas and unrealistic standards can lead to feelings of inadequacy, low self-esteem, and anxiety. Cyberbullying and online harassment are also prevalent, causing emotional distress and even depression.

From an environmental standpoint, the production, consumption, and disposal of electronic devices contribute to significant ecological problems. The extraction of raw materials, energy consumption during manufacturing, and improper disposal of e-waste all contribute to pollution and resource depletion, posing long-term threats to our planet.

While electronic devices have undeniable benefits, it is crucial to recognize and address the toxic impacts they can have. Setting boundaries, practicing digital detoxes, and cultivating a healthy balance between device usage and real-life experiences can help mitigate these negative effects. Additionally, promoting digital literacy and responsible device use can create a healthier relationship with technology for individuals and society as a whole.

There is no creativity around, it is so passe`.

The Great Indian Shaadi Circus!

Ah ......

Indian marriages, where the guest list is longer than the bride's veil and the food is spicier than the groom's dance moves. It's a celebration that lasts for days, with more outfit changes than a fashion show and enough sweets to give Willy Wonka a run for his money.

The journey begins with the matchmaker, who sets up the meeting between the potential bride and groom. They sit awkwardly across from each other, sipping tea and trying to make small talk while their families hover nearby, eagerly watching for any signs of chemistry.

If the couple is lucky enough to hit it off, the wedding planning begins. There are endless decisions to be made, from the venue to the catering to the entertainment. And don't forget about the wedding outfits - the bride's lehenga must be more stunning than the Taj Mahal, while the groom's sherwani must be more dazzling than the Kohinoor diamond.

As the big day approaches, the excitement builds. The sangeet ceremony is a chance for everyone to show off their dance moves, while the mehendi ceremony is a chance for the bride to showcase her intricate henna designs. And then comes the main event - the wedding ceremony itself, with all its pomp and splendor.

But perhaps the most memorable part of an Indian wedding is the food. From butter chicken to biryani to gulab jamun, the spread is enough to make any foodie weak in the knees. And let's not forget about the jalebis - those sweet, syrupy treats that are impossible to resist.

As the celebrations wind down, the newlyweds begin their life together, surrounded by love and family. And while the wedding may be over, the memories (and Instagram photos) will last a lifetime.

In summary, Indian marriages are a colorful, vibrant celebration of love and family, filled with delicious food, elaborate outfits, and unforgettable moments. It's a celebration that truly embodies the phrase "big fat Indian wedding."

90s nostalgia | Many memories | No evidences

If ever, we - human race, stumble upon the idea of getting a time machine and go for some time travel or age leap, I would choose 90's for some odd reasons of mine.

We grew up in the no internet times.
That was an era, where power cuts were so organic

Seasons could be divided,
movie-halls were for the movies and had 4 shows,

Song lyrics made sense, MTV actually played music.☺
spending money on cassettes and DVDs/CDs was not foolish.

'Humara Bajaj' was pride. Maruti 800 was luxury.

Road had space and traffic was less.

Their was no hamleys and fisher-price, it was simple and non-complicated.

My sticker collection was to die for, and I did have some 4000+ picture of Rahul dravid pasted in a scrap book.

DD1 was need and DD2 was desire.
Alif Laila, and shaktiman were magical.

There were no credit cards, but we were still not broke.

The joy of hanging on the sofa for the landline phones, was no pain.

There were vacations, and no Instagram. Shimla, manali were destinations

siblings & cousins existed and met more often then just family weddings.
socializing was not facebook and linkedin.

Kids today will not realize how it was to click some selected pictures and actually wait for them to be developed.

No Google, Libraries and books were ethereal.

Nevertheless, I believe this is how every generation feels when they look beyond themselves, so no hard feeling guys.

Best half of the world

The world celebrates 'The International Women's Day' on March 8th every year, but it is every day that you should celebrate your existence.

I love the complicated existence of a woman! Don’t you?

Girls are born to be caring and curious, obsessed and observing, loving and lovable, responsible and rocking, savage and sassy, bright and beautiful.
There is something so beautiful, strong and special about being a woman.

In everyday work life we are always vying to exceed our appraisal goals and running behind the daily chores. And on top of it, there is this omnipresent pressure of gender bias to deal with at work. Over a period of time, and with different experiences I have had, I have come to the conclusion that most of this pressure is uncalled for and self-created.

Each person has a unique role to play, then why beat you up by trying to be equal to someone else. I believe we should relish our multi-dimensional presence filled with emotions, intellect, insights and intuitions, and remember that we are capable of marvelous things.

Figure out your strengths, jump over the hurdles and keep running.
Sometimes, you will wonder if you are doing enough or getting rewarded enough.
These thoughts will exhaust your brain and physical self. But the true, unstoppable woman in you will have the resilience to handle each day with strength and be successful in whatever you do.

Among all the chaos, try listening to that little voice right in there - soul voice, it is a mix of doubt and determination, vulnerability and strength.

There will be days when you would look clueless, days of self-doubt.
But you must learn to get yourself together and tell yourself that there is no glass ceiling high enough for you to shatter.

Learn to appreciate yourself, check what a rush it gives when you try to do create, explore, and observe new things.

Don’t ask for equality, act equal, and come out of that shell. Participate and win, rather win big.
You should, you must become the person you want the other person to be.

It is better done then said, have you tried multitasking, taking an escalation - work call while painting your nails and checking your mails? its amazingly satisfying.

With the insane amount of hours that we work at office, it’s important to have a balance. It’s okay to take a break, its okay to think about you, and yes, it’s definitely not something to feel guilty about.
So, while it’s essential to stay relevant and slog to deliver impeccable work and up skill and excel in newer things of AWS, RPA and cloud, it is equally important to take time off to do what you like-

•Go on a holiday, go for fitness training, read a book or just sleep, digital detox.
•Watch Gossip Girl or Games of Thrones or work on improving your scores in PUBG
•Go for some retail therapy
•Better still; try to save the world by giving up plastics! Ever tried a plastic detox?
•Or just listen to what your heart says

Cherish every moment and while you douse all the fire around, trust me you have no idea what destruction you are capable of.

You can make him love you and choose to leave him too.
You are intense enough to make a 'Kabir Singh', that is epic savage!

Girls you are born to rule, go for the kill.
Make people wonder how you still flaunt your version of the Mona Lisa smile.

“The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you are very courageous; be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble. “~Serena Williams

Reassurance

Another usual long day at work and you come back home exhausted.
No energy to cook, so it is yesterday's leftovers for meal tonight.

Turn on laptop and scroll through your news feeds to check what is happening all around the globe.
Look at happy, shiny couples. Wonder when you will be part of one. Friends and colleagues on fancy holidays in exotic locations, makes you think how do people roam around and you have so much to bang your head into.

A couple of wedding photographs and happily-ever-after later, you don't feel like going any further. It's the same, irritating story every day.
You shut down Facebook. Check your phone, hoping for some messages. No new notifications. No hellos, no good nights.

Even that person who kept pestering you with messages, doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. Feeling weird and lonely, you put yourself to sleep. Because no one else will, right?

Why does one message matter that much anyway? When did a virtual message become that important? Isn't it stupid to look forward to them? No. The truth is that a message has become much more than just a form of communication. It is a reminder that someone, somewhere is thinking about you. A reassurance.
A reminder that no matter how exhausting the day was, it's going to be a good night. And it's okay to want that.

So this is for the one who cry themselves to sleep thinking that no one cares, for the night crawlers who yearn to talk to someone special who tells them how much they mean to them, and for the hopeless romantics. It's okay to be needy. It is perfectly normal to expect.

You should know that even though it has been a rough day (or days and more), tomorrow will be a new day. The dawn will bring with it the sound of chirping  birds and endless laughter, the fragrance of the early morning air and that special someone, the amazing feeling of the dew drop and a hand on yours. Know that it is just the day which is over, not your life.

You might have to wait a little longer for that person who sends you the last message you read before going to sleep, but you will not have to wait for the message today.

Good night, you beautiful,

You have been strong and I am proud of you.

daddy

Going though some old pictures I came across a picture with daddy.
All decked up in a white bandhgala at a family celebration, holding me close while I slept (I must have been 1 then) he looked sharp.

Not all super heroes wear capes, daddies are the real super humans.
If ever I get a life again I wish we get back these roles, because there is something I cant define about you and cannot get enough of you !

I am tough because you are strong.
Nothing affects me more then your reaction to anything.
I absolutely love the way you get restless when I am not well, the way you call me 'laddoo', the way we poke mom, the way you call me 4 times every day, the way you are into your children and so much more.
Although I do not like when you force me to eat apples.

You are my constant in the ever changing life, for now and forever and more.
If ever it happens that nobody loves me in this world, I know for the fact that you will still love me with all your heart.

I have been giving some real time lately, but you know how things are :P, but its alright.
We will sort it soon.
I must tell you that I trust you and no-one listens to me the way you do.

The way you have the best handwriting, the way you have pushed me to think beyond just ordinary.

But daddy I think you should smile a little more, although I like the tough look too.
But still we can try ... whatsay :*

we are the better team at home, mom sometimes tries to out do, but we know how it is.
I love you and more and more and much much more :)

To all the daddies out there, yours is the most thankless job but you are doing it really well.
To all the children out there, please take sometime off from your social/economic responsibilities to make parents feel your presence.

Make it count

The more things change, the more they remain the same.

You might love him with all your heart, but expression can make a lot of difference.
You need to ensure that this expression reaches the right person and correct place when there is still time.

Tell him
That he is magical, even if it is just his presence,
That he smells amazing, even if it is just his aftershave,
That he is fun, even if it is just his silence,
That he is game, even if it is just his eyes,
That he cooks well, even if it is just noodles
That he is fantastic, even if it is just his chaos,
That he is caring, even if it is just his stupid conversation,
That you love his mess, even if it is just his hair,
That he is crazy, even if it is for his plans,
That he is high, even if it is his football craze,
That he is madness, even if it is his mood,
That he has a vibe, even if it is for his colors (in all forms),
That he is heart, even when you have your own,

That he is love, because you never felt so convinced.

So, tell him now because tomorrow may just be a dream.

"at the end all that matters is love".

I would have if I could have

Never did I realize that this might be something I might have to rethink about ...

Today I would have had you but I dont and the reason is because I did not consent when the time was just right .
I might have to settle for someone who might just love me more that you but I might not be able to reciprocate, because I cannot get over and trust me it is really tough.
I don't have an option now ... I don't have you and you won't be convinced.

No one knows about this and the absolute pain remains inside me.
How I wish I could travel back in time to make just a few corrections and get all this mess in a good shape.

We all Sit and talk about destiny, but when it really dawns it is painful and heartbreaking sometimes
I have been very mean and have been finding someone who can help me move on and get over you... But no luck.
How I wish things would be a lot different, trust me 'I would have if I could have' the power to rephrase and set the situations right.

We might be at distance and there is a lot of communication gap but I am still not able to decide if we are over or there is still some hope for me in there.

the moral of the story remains, say it when it matters the most and nothings change there-after.

Hollow within

The decisions which are made to please others can never give you the happiness that you deserve and sometimes it is just not meant to be.
They might decide for you but you will bear the life-long consequences.

I am aarzoo, and he is Ronak.
We are married for almost 2 years now and I am not still not able to decide weather it was destiny or was it forced.
I used to like a guy, we were good together and we spoke to our parents to take this ahead but as anticipated they did not agree. Parents are programmed to be reactive in such a situation.
Anyways, it did not work. I also gave into the family pressure.

So it was then they found Ronak for me, whom according to them was the best match.
He was rich and more rich, he liked the girl and girl's consent was not needed. [They were not ready for a 'NO'].

I chose him because my parents felt that it was right and he was good enough. Since then we are together not by choice obviously.
He never considered me as a partner but just an anointed wife, we are like flatmates, share his surname and don't share bills because I don't earn.
Time and again he reminds me that he had so many proposals to consider for alliance but he considered me because the family insisted.

He has a routine and I have a husband. He follows his heart and I follow his instructions.
I have nothing to talk to him, even if I do it results in a monologue because nothing makes him happy. He is a difficult man to please and I am tired of giving it a try.

He comes home and he finds time for Indian economy & newspapers but me. He has time for his swimming, gaming, gym and tennis regime but his wife.
I am not allowed to find a job and work because I never used to, moreover he does not want me to work for some 20 thousand rupees. [He earns much more then needed, still I am not a happy wife :)]

I don't remember if we have a single happy picture together, not even from our honeymoon. It is because they is a unsaid vacuum. No-one understands but there is no connection.
I am not allowed to go out with friends because he does not approve of it and think I am better off at home.

I tried telling my mom that we don't talk and to this her answer was that "time heals everything".
We have his friends coming over every weekend so that we don't have to spend the entire day together yet alone.
For once I tried talking to him about how lonely I feel and he suggested that lets have a baby so that you are occupied and have a company too.

I feel like a machine, everything is just perfect in my house food, laundry, furniture, bills. The only thing missing is life.

I have recently moved to United states with him because he wanted to and I was supposed to.
but I am still looking for happiness which I believe I deserve.

I am the only one suffering, because everyone else feels that he is good enough.
