90s nostalgia | Many memories | No evidences

If ever, we - human race, stumble upon the idea of getting a time machine and go for some time travel or age leap, I would choose 90's for some odd reasons of mine.

We grew up in the no internet times.
That was an era, where power cuts were so organic

Seasons could be divided,
movie-halls were for the movies and had 4 shows,

Song lyrics made sense, MTV actually played music.☺
spending money on cassettes and DVDs/CDs was not foolish.

'Humara Bajaj' was pride. Maruti 800 was luxury.

Road had space and traffic was less.

Their was no hamleys and fisher-price, it was simple and non-complicated.

My sticker collection was to die for, and I did have some 4000+ picture of Rahul dravid pasted in a scrap book.

DD1 was need and DD2 was desire.
Alif Laila, and shaktiman were magical.

There were no credit cards, but we were still not broke.

The joy of hanging on the sofa for the landline phones, was no pain.

There were vacations, and no Instagram. Shimla, manali were destinations

siblings & cousins existed and met more often then just family weddings.
socializing was not facebook and linkedin.

Kids today will not realize how it was to click some selected pictures and actually wait for them to be developed.

No Google, Libraries and books were ethereal.

Nevertheless, I believe this is how every generation feels when they look beyond themselves, so no hard feeling guys.

Best half of the world

The world celebrates 'The International Women's Day' on March 8th every year, but it is every day that you should celebrate your existence.

I love the complicated existence of a woman! Don’t you?

Girls are born to be caring and curious, obsessed and observing, loving and lovable, responsible and rocking, savage and sassy, bright and beautiful.
There is something so beautiful, strong and special about being a woman.

In everyday work life we are always vying to exceed our appraisal goals and running behind the daily chores. And on top of it, there is this omnipresent pressure of gender bias to deal with at work. Over a period of time, and with different experiences I have had, I have come to the conclusion that most of this pressure is uncalled for and self-created.

Each person has a unique role to play, then why beat you up by trying to be equal to someone else. I believe we should relish our multi-dimensional presence filled with emotions, intellect, insights and intuitions, and remember that we are capable of marvelous things.

Figure out your strengths, jump over the hurdles and keep running.
Sometimes, you will wonder if you are doing enough or getting rewarded enough.
These thoughts will exhaust your brain and physical self. But the true, unstoppable woman in you will have the resilience to handle each day with strength and be successful in whatever you do.

Among all the chaos, try listening to that little voice right in there - soul voice, it is a mix of doubt and determination, vulnerability and strength.

There will be days when you would look clueless, days of self-doubt.
But you must learn to get yourself together and tell yourself that there is no glass ceiling high enough for you to shatter.

Learn to appreciate yourself, check what a rush it gives when you try to do create, explore, and observe new things.

Don’t ask for equality, act equal, and come out of that shell. Participate and win, rather win big.
You should, you must become the person you want the other person to be.

It is better done then said, have you tried multitasking, taking an escalation - work call while painting your nails and checking your mails? its amazingly satisfying.

With the insane amount of hours that we work at office, it’s important to have a balance. It’s okay to take a break, its okay to think about you, and yes, it’s definitely not something to feel guilty about.
So, while it’s essential to stay relevant and slog to deliver impeccable work and up skill and excel in newer things of AWS, RPA and cloud, it is equally important to take time off to do what you like-

•Go on a holiday, go for fitness training, read a book or just sleep, digital detox.
•Watch Gossip Girl or Games of Thrones or work on improving your scores in PUBG
•Go for some retail therapy
•Better still; try to save the world by giving up plastics! Ever tried a plastic detox?
•Or just listen to what your heart says

Cherish every moment and while you douse all the fire around, trust me you have no idea what destruction you are capable of.

You can make him love you and choose to leave him too.
You are intense enough to make a 'Kabir Singh', that is epic savage!

Girls you are born to rule, go for the kill.
Make people wonder how you still flaunt your version of the Mona Lisa smile.

“The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you are very courageous; be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble. “~Serena Williams
